Brand History
In 1985, Patrice Chapon, 24, made his first chocolates in the cellar of the family home. His signature ? Original chocolates. He made chocolates in the morning and sell them to Parisian confectioneries in the afternoon.
He then moved to a small warehouse in a busy street in “Lagny-Sur-Marne”. Installed in this workshop, Patrice Chapon works behind a bay window front of curious eyes. Shy, Patrice Chapon fixed a poster on the window which, without knowing it, will later become his logo: the 3 children carrying boxes of chocolate milk.
Conscious of the continual demand, Patrice Chapon opens, in 1993, a small point of sale inside his new workshop in Chelles.
A few years later, in 2001, he invested Paris with the acquisition of his first boutique on Avenue Mozart in the 16th arrondissement. With his success, he then opened four other Parisian boutiques, a shop in Tokyo and an e-commerce website which distribute chocolates worldwide.
