Our roasted sesame seed oil is gently cold-pressed from mildly roasted organic sesame seed. An especially gentle roasting process, that takes place at our oil manufactory, prevents over-roasting of the sesame seed oil and preserves the valuable ingredients. The oil contains at least 50% virgin sesame seed oil from unroasted seed as we only roast part of the sesame seeds. The resulting mild roast aroma makes this sesame seed oil so special.
Sesame seed oil in the kitchen
Our cold-pressed sesame seed oil is suitable for short frying and cooking. It adds a characteristic and aromatic taste to Asian dishes. We especially recommend it for short frying vegetables and tofu. Of course, sesame seed oil from virgin or roasted seeds can also be used in the cold kitchen, for example in dressings for papaya or mango salad.
